Publication Ethics

Code of ethics in human subjects: The journal of Delta University for Science and Technology accepts research in human that only comply with the ethical principles and standards of research involving human subjects according to the declaration of Helsinki published by the World Medical Association (WMA) and Belmont Report. The manuscript should be in line with the Recommendations for the Conduct, Reporting, Editing and Publication of Scholarly Work in Medical Journals and aim for the inclusion of representative human populations (sex, age and ethnicity) as per those recommendations. The terms sex and gender should be used correctly. Authors should include a statement in the manuscript that informed consent was obtained for experimentation with human subjects. The privacy rights of human subjects must always be observed.

Code of ethics in animals: The journal of Delta University for Science and Technology accepts research in animals that comply with: The ethical principles published by the National Committee for Research Ethics in Science and Technology (NENT), The ARRIVE guidelines (Animal Research: Reporting of In Vivo Experiments) and should be carried out in accordance with the U.K. Animals (Scientific Procedures) Act, 1986 and associated guidelines.

Ethical Review: All research protocols undergo an ethical review, as required by a qualified independent committee (The Institutional Review Board of Delta University for Science and Technology) to ensure the implementation of the required ethical codes.
